Macramé wreath workshop

MacrAmys’ Macramé is a one-girl-band run by Amy who makes an array of macramé (the art of decorative knotting) items using eco-friendly plant based string and rope.

During this workshop you will get to choose from a selection of beautiful natural ropes to make the Christmas wreaths that are approximately 35cm wide. You will be shown how to create the knots and add the finishing touches to the rope wreath. Once the knot work is complete there will be an abundance of folliage that Amy will have forraged in the Hampshire countryside. She will offer advice and guidance when dressing the wreaths. Its a lovely workshop for all ages and abilities and a great time to get into the festive spirit. Once Christmas is over, the wreaths can be dressed to suit different seasonal events from lushous greenery, ribbons and spring florals for Easter to colourful florals for summer parties.

When: Sat 18th Nov. 10am-2pm.
